2015 Research

Don’t you just love the Japanese! Researchers from Kyushu University have found, as you do, that roundworms (which are less than about a milimetre in size) are attracted to the urine of people with cancer.

According to a report in Nikkei, across 300 people, the accuracy was 90%. So soon all GPs in the UK will be taking out their supplies of roundworms, while you go for a wee.

And roundworms cost a mere fraction of the price of a mammogram. Hitachi are launching a machine in 2018 but it will not differentiate between types of cancer.
