As from 1st June 2013, Northumberland Cancer Support Group meetings will now be held on the first and third Tuesday of each month at the Education Centre, Hexham Hospital. The programme of events includes speakers, meditation, relaxation, discussions, social evenings and complementary therapies which are available free of charge. They have workshops and an annual retreat. They offer support for patients and carers and have a holistic approach.
On the first Tuesday of each month, the Meditation will be alternated with Circle Dancing. On Tuesday 4th June it will be Circle Dancing and on Tuesday 2nd July it will be Meditation and Relaxation, on Tuesday 6th August it will be Circle Dancing and on Tuesday 3rd September it will be the Meditation, and so on.
Please also note that we have a specific time for the Library. The Library will be open from 7-7:30pm on the first and third Tuesdays of each month. The library is located on the first floor outside our store-room by the settee. If you are unsure where this is located, please ask on the night you attend.
