FORCE has about 8000 members and provides a comprehensive range of non-clinical support services for all cancers. It offers information, emotional support and practical to anyone affected by cancer at any point in their lives. The service is free and confidential and available to patients, their families and carers, as well as health professionals. FORCE provides:
A relaxed and comfortable purpose built Support Centre inExeter, plus selected ‘outreach’ services in Tiverton and Okehampton.
An opportunity to ask questions about cancer treatment andside-effects from experienced Oncology Nurses
Highly skilled Support Specialists, who provide emotionalsupport and practical guidance.
In-depthsupport in the form of Counselling is also available.
Individual assessment and advice from an experiencedOncology Physiotherapist who can help with the physical impact of cancertreatment and the management of fatigue
Group-based Exercise and Education Programmes
A range of Complimentary Therapies are available to bothpatients and their immediate carer, to promote relaxation and wellbeing

Group Support for specific cancer sites, the management ofanxiety ,mindfulness, relaxation, andCreative Art.
