Enzyme that spreads Cancer Cells

Scientists from the University of Wisconsin have identified an enzyme that could well help cancer cells to move and metastase. The enzyme protein appears to signal the cells to move and attach to others making it a possible target for anti-cancer drugs (Nature 2002; 420; 89-93.)
