Brain Cancer and Mobile Phones

Brain Cancer and Mobile Phones

When I was nine, my eldest sister Catherine died of a glioma, a brain tumour. She had lived almost 4 years since she was diagnosed; it was some sort of record for St Thomas’ Hospital.

My father, with Catherine, built a charity CANCERactive to raise awareness of all the things people can do to help themselves both prevent and treat cancer. There is so much information around the world. Before CANCERactive, it was rarely easily accessible to the majority of people.

I have just completed my A levels. I wrote the attached EPQ. It won me an A*. My family thought I should share the piece.

It is in PDF format. You can access it by clicking HERE to.
