In a not too impressive piece of research, "Bra Wearing Not Associated with Breast Cancer Risk:
A Population-Based Case-Control Study," published in the journal of Cancer Epidemiology, Biomarkers & Prevention, researchers from Fred Hutchinson cancer research Center seem to have made a basic error. Whilst they looked at the hours women wore their bras each day and extrapolated their results, at no point did they analyse the bra wearers against the obvious control group – women who didn’t wear bras. A bit of a boob, guys!
