´Oestrogen - the killer in our midst´, published by CANCERactive, compiled by Chris Woollams. Third Edition. Completely revised for January 2014.
Non-small cell lung cancer is the fastest growing form of lung cancer. It has gone from 12 per cent of all lung cancer to 40 per cent in the USA in roughly 20 years. You don’t have to have been near a cigarette to develop it. The cancer is oestrogen-driven.
Available from the sole and official distributors in the UK and Australia.
Oestrogen (or Estrogen in the USA) is widely known as the female sex hormone, but actually it is a family of chemicals known to drive cancer:
* Female cancers like breast cancer, ovarian cancer and endometrial cancer
* Male cancers like Prostate and testicular
* General cancers like colorectal, non-small cell lung cancer and brain cancer
So your breast cancer is oestrogen positive (ER+). Do you understand what that means; what caused it; what the doctor will suggest; but most importantly, what you can do to help yourself?
If you have ER+ breast cancer, in one sense you are lucky - at least you know oestrogen plays a part. With the other cancers, no one is ever likely to tell you!
Three types of oestrogen (estrogen) exist - human oestrogen and chemical oestrogen (or xenoestrogen) can drive cancers. The third area, phytoestrogens, are very protective.Levels of human oestrogen in females are increasing by 7 per cent a year according to Cancer Research UK, and most of it is aggressive forms. It is increasing in older men too - but no one talks about that!
You need to know exactly how oestrogen affects your cancer and what you can do about it, to help yourself, naturally.
The WHO Health Organisation has recommended that Governments ban certain chemicals of concern in particular ‘gender bender’ oestrogen mimics like BPA and phthalates. Then there are chemicals in and around the home, environmental oestrogens, pesticides, herbicides and fungicides all with dangerous xenoestrogens in them - and they are cumulative. So how can you sort that out?
It is not just cancer that is the result on excesses of estrogen – periods come to ever younger girls, sperm counts decline, prostate glands increase, PCOS, endometriosis, immune damage, even brain fog.
But you can take simple steps to protect yourself and your family. You can take control, and cut your personal levels of this modern killer. This easy-to-understand and use book, completely revised to include all the latest research in January 2014, tells you exactly how.
